What can I do about stained or discolored teeth?
Tooth whiting or bleaching is the #1 dental cosmetic procedure. This can be done in several ways. There are over the counter products, but they are less effective.
In the dental office we have two different ways to bleach teeth. The first uses take-home trays. We are able to give you much stronger bleach than you can get over the counter, so the effect is much faster and more noticeable.
A second option we have is in-office bleach. This is the most effective and fastest way to get your teeth whiter.
Our Dual Method
In our office, we like to do a combination of both in-office and take-home trays. We use Boost from Ultradent to quickly get a whiting effect. After that, custom-made bleach trays are used for a week or two, at home, to greatly enhance the Boost effect. This duel method has been shown to work well in getting great results for our patients. I am sure it will work well for you.

Are you candidate?
Prior to any bleaching procedure, a full dental examination is necessary to determine if you are a good candidate for dental bleaching. Cavities on your front teeth could become painful and the bleaching effect greatly reduced.
Also, tooth colored filling on your front teeth will not bleach. They may match very well now, but if your teeth get lighter and your fillings do not, then they will begin to look old and unsightly. This can be remedied by replacing your fillings after bleaching to again create the chameleon effect of the tooth colored fillings.
